SDC: We congratulate Newroz on Syrian people, wish it to be Eid of freedom, ending crisis and occupation

This came through a statement issued by the Syrian Democratic Council on the eve of the Newroz, in which said:

“The Kurdish people have celebrated Newroz for about 3000 years along many peoples in the region. Newroz represents the values ​​of freedom, justice, equality, salvation from and ending oppression. This Day is one of the oldest Eids in the Middle East, and it was doomed to remain due to the ongoing battle struggle between good and evil materialized in the systems of tyranny and the renaissance movements that emphasize the values ​​of coexistence and diversity in our region, which went undeterred by attempts to undermine the state of pluralism that our societies enjoy. Arabs and Kurds, Muslims, Christians and Yazidis run themselves since 2014, when the Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria was established, which turns into the best solutions to pull Syria out of its divisive reality and solve its crisis, which in turn has turned its eleventh year, after these components presented the most wonderful picture in defending the country's unity against the fascist ISIS organization supported by Erdogan's Turkey and Syrian groups that hinder the Syrian solution and hostiles against the brotherhood and unity amid their attempts to legalize the crimes of the Turkish occupation against the people of Syria in the areas they occupied, especially Afrin.

We in the SDC congratulate the people of Syria, the region and the world Newroz, and we hope that it will be the day of freedom for all prisoners of opinion and politicians from the prisons of the totalitarian countries, and end of the region’s crises, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries of the occupied Syrian regions, and solving the Syrian crisis according to its documented political path. We also extend our congratulations and special congratulations to the Kurdish people, stressing our support for resolving the Kurdish cause in accordance with relevant international covenants, so that Syria is a country for all its components and all issues are resolved in accordance with a modern constitution for a decentralized democratic state.
