On the eve of Nowruz ... the mausoleums of martyrs in northeastern Syria are lit with candles

Dozens of the components of Tirbê Spiyê district went to the Martyr Delsher Cemetery in Duger village and lit candles on the shrines of the martyrs on the eve of Newroz.

After that, the mothers of the martyrs lit Newroz flame in the middle of the shrine, while Hajj Farhan, the father of the martyr Baz Tirbê Spiyê, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the martyrs' families, and all the peoples of north and east Syria on Newroz.

Hajj Farhan confirmed that they, like the families of the martyrs, continue on the path of their martyrs until the liberation of all occupied lands.

In the same context, the families of the martyrs lit candles on the tombs of their martyred sons and daughters in the Martyr Xebat (Khabat) Dêrik Shrine, on the occasion of the arrival of Newroz.

Where the Martyrs' Families Council in Dêrik and the families of the martyrs in Dêrik, Girkê Legê and Al-Koçerat area went to the Martyr Xebat Dêrik Shrine to light candles on the tombs of their martyrs to commemorate them and bless them with Newroz.

In the same context, the Revolutionary Youth organized a torchlight march on the occasion of the arrival of Newroz, where the revolutionary youth gathered at the Martyr Bawir Youth Center and wandered the streets of Dêrik city amid slogans calling for the freedom of the leader Ocalan and congratulating him and all peoples on this occasion.

The marchers returned once again to the Revolutionary Youth Center to transform the march into a celebration, as Newroz fires were lit.
