EU waves with sanctions on Turkey

It is expected that this warning will be completed on Friday during the second round of European summit meetings to be held in Brussels, which will be devoted to discussing foreign policy and relations with Turkey.

This comes as tension has returned between European countries and Ankara, after the ship of gas exploration returned to the disputed region off Greece, which angered Athens, and dawned the timid rapprochement recorded by the past days.

On Thursday, European leaders imposed sanctions on a number of close associates of Russian President Vladimir Putin, among them known as "Putin's cook", in the case of poisoning opposition Alexei Navalny, and against the background of the Kremlin's interference in the Libyan war.

Through these measures, European leaders issued an implicit warning to Ankara, which is involved in several regional files, from Syria to Libya and recently the priest of Artsakh / Karabakh, where it transferred many Syrian mercenaries to Azerbaijan to participate in the conflict, just as it did before it in Libya, in support of the Government of National Accord against Libyan army.
