In conjunction with the regime's attacks on Saraqib, Turkey began bringing in major military reinforcements to Idlib and Aleppo, and Russian aircraft launched an attack on the outskirt of a Turkish convoy, announcing the Turkish Ministry of Defense on the second day that the Syrian regime had killed Turkish soldiers.

As a result, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced attacks on regime forces ’positions in response to the killing of Turkish soldiers.

The dispute between Astana’s guarantors also included Iran, which said that the Syrian regime had the right to launch a military operation in Idlib, followed by Turkey’s mercenaries attacking Nubl, and Zahraa, where forces close to Iran were present.

All these developments and differences between (Astana guarantors), will certainly be present during the Russian-Turkish meeting, as it appears that previous understandings are no longer appropriate to the balance of current forces.

Russian aircraft ignite the field before the meeting

What are the options for both parties?

The advance of the regime forces in Idlib countryside, and its orientation to control international roads, greatly worries Turkey, as it will lose all its tools on the ground, and through this Turkish options have become limited, and it will try to conclude a new barter with the Russians, either maintaining some areas in Idlib countryside, while investing anxiety The European Union is in a new refugee situation, or a new green light has been taken from Russia to launch an attack on the regions of NE, Syria.

As for Russia, it does not have much to make any concessions to Ankara after losing its tools, and will most likely return the so-called Adana Agreement to the forefront, but with new formulation.
