European Parliament member Andreas Cheddar arrives in al-Jazeera
Andreas Cheddar, a member of the European Parliament from the Bloc of Social Democrats, arrived shortly after in al-Jazeera region, and is now meeting with the Department of External Relations of the Autonomous Administration for North and East Syria.
The member of the European Parliament from the Social Democrats bloc Andreas Cheddar aims from his visit to the headquarters of the External Relations of the Autonomous Administration for North and East Syria in Qamishlo, to see the latest developments and developments taking place in the region after the recent Turkish attack.
Since October 9, the Turkish occupation army has launched attacks in the north and east of Syria, using all kinds of heavy weapons, and the attack has so far resulted in the forced displacement of thousands of civilians from their homes.
The delegation was received by the co-chair of the External Relations Department, Abdel Karim Omar, the official spokesman for the External Relations Department, Kamal Akef, and the two co-chairs of the Foreign Relations Department, Abeer Eliya and Fanar Al-Kheit.
The two sides are now holding a closed meeting in front of the media in the Department of Foreign Relations in Qamishlo, and according to sources within the meeting, a statement will be made to journalists about the reasons for the visit and the content of the meeting in detail, after the end of the meeting.
