“Avista Khabor shook the throne of Ottomans' descendants”

The memorial ceremony was on Monday, at the headquarters of the Martyrs' Families Council in al-Tabqa, where the people of al-Tabqa continue their strike there.

Dozens of the people of al-Tabqa, the martyrs' families in addition to members of the civil and military institutions had attended the ceremony.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the participants stood a minute of silence coinciding with the heading of the martyrs' mothers towards the picture of the martyr Avista to ignite the candles of love and peace before it. 

After that, the co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council, Abdulkarim Al-Ibrahim, delivered a speech which began with the commemoration of the martyrdom of Avista, he said," one year has passed since the martyrdom of Avista, the symbol of free steadfastness, who sacrificed to protect her companions to pave the way for them to liberate the city of peace 'Afrin' which became haven for the Syrians under its olives, and where the people of north and east Syria unify on its soil to resist the Ottoman fascism and tyranny.  

In her turn, the member of the Women Administration in al-Taqba, Fatma al-Muhammad had delivered a poem greeting the resistance of women in the military and political aspects, confirming that Avista had drawn with her blood the struggle line and freedom path for all the women in the world, adding that "Avista Khabor is the name which shook the throne of the Ottomans' descendants."
