Al-Raqqa dignitaries: We have to intensify our defense against any threat

ANHA agency met with the dignitaries of al-Raqqa city, who confirmed the necessity to apply the concept of Self-Defense Duty, urging the youth to join the Self-Defense Forces to deter any threats against the areas of north and east Syria, and the buffer zone should not be protected by Turkey.

Sheikh Aied al-Hadi, one of the dignitaries of al-Mosa clan said," We today, in north Syria live a participatory life. Deference does exist between an Arab, Kurd, Christian and other components." 

Al-Hadi pointed out that the foreign countries especially Turkey, want to thwart the Democratic Nation's project, but this project will be achieved thanks to the solidarity and cohesion among the people of the region, he said. We, as dignitaries of al-Raqqa city stand with the Syrian Democratic Forces."

Hazal al-Eiz, sheikh of al-Afadla clan said," the people of al-Raqqa must join the Self-Defense Forces to strengthen and develop the Self-Defense system in al-Raqqa and north Syria, what happened in al-Mansoura is a clear evidence of the criminal elements who try to tamper with the stability and safety in north and east Syria."
