Elizabeth Korea: Our democratic project prevents Erdogan from reaching his occupying ambitions

She added, "Turkey has worked hard to create strives among the components of the Syrian people, and tried a lot to end this democratic project."

On their position about the Turkish threats, Elizabeth indicated that their position is firm, and they will defend their democratic project. She added, "Our project is a project of dignity, and we will not accept anyone to threaten Syria or to occupy a part of the Syrian territory. Our project is to restore Syria's true historic status."

She said, "We have sacrificed many of our sons and daughters to preserve our legitimate rights in the region."

Elizabeth pointed out that the Turkish threats do not only target the Kurdish people in northern and eastern Syria, but all the components located in that geographical area.

On the timing of the issuance of statements by the Turkish officials about carrying out a military operation in the region, Elizabeth explained at the end of her speech that they coincide with the end of IS mercenaries in their last strongholds in Hajin town in Deir ez-Zor countryside which negatively affect their interests in the region.
