Executive Body concluded its series of meetings with administrations' committees

The Executive Council of the Autonomous Administrations in North and East Syria called on young people in the diaspora to return home and Youth and Sports Committees to activate sports activities in a meeting with the Youth and Sports Body and the committees represented by the seven administrations at the last meeting of the committees to coordinate and cooperate in the work.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Autonomous Administrations bodies of North and East Syria, the co-chairs of the Executive Council, Abdul Hamed al-Mehbash and Berîvan Khalid, and the co-chairs of the Youth and Sports Body and the committees represented by the seven autonomous and civil administrations in Northern and East Syria.

At the beginning of the meeting, the co-chair of the Executive Body explained the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria and addressed the importance of the role of youth in communities building.

It pointed to the importance of the return of young people forced by the circumstances to emigrate from abroad, and called for their return to embrace the homeland and work to build the future of Syria.

The participants listened to the work of each of the seven committees and the obstacles that hinder their work. The attendees discussed solutions to overcome them urging the revitalization and support of sporting activities, and the rehabilitation of sports facilities.

They called for the need to combat the negative habits that the capitalist regimes are trying to spread among young people (drugs, negative fashion and addiction to social networking sites) through awareness campaigns and the rejection of alien habits targeting young people.

The participants formed a seven-member committee to formulate a unified rules of procedures for the work of the Youth and Sports Body and its similar committees in the seven autonomous and civil administrations.

The Youth and Sports Body will set up a monthly meeting of its similar committees to coordinate the work.

This is the last meeting of the Executive Council with similar bodies and committees for the purpose of cooperation and coordination. A series of periodic meetings will be held monthly between each body and its similar committees in the seven administrations with the aim of coordination and continuity of work.

The Executive Body will start holding a series of meetings with the executive councils of the 7 autonomous and civil administrations early next month.
