A delegation from the Peoples' Democracy and Equality Party (HDP) met with leader Abdullah Ocalan on August 28. The Mesopotamia news agency reported that the meeting lasted three hours, during which various topics were discussed. The leader also gave important instructions, especially to young people traveling to Europe.

According to the information received, during the meeting, leader Abdullah Ocalan emphasized that young people traveling to Europe should build their lives in their own countries and not stray far from their homeland.

He criticized the desire of the residents of Urfa, Ağrı, and other cities to remain distant from their homes, explaining that this stems from a deliberate policy of displacement.

The leader indicated that the reasons behind people's departure from their countries and lands must be thoroughly discussed.

According to the agency, the leader said during the meeting, "I prefer Imrali to going to Europe. I say this frankly; they must fulfill their duty to their land and culture, and I encourage them to do so. One of my goals in this process is to ensure the return of people from exile to their homeland."

In the meeting, Leader Abdullah Ocalan also pointed out the need for Kurds in Europe to build their own culture, language, and communes.
