The Turkish state is repeatedly launching attacks against North Syria's areas using heavy weapons and that resulted in martyring civilians, including a 6-year-old girl in addition to wounding journalists.

ANHA has met with officials of Kurdish and Syrian political parties to talk about the background of these attacks and ways to repel them.

Turkey targets primarily the Kurdish presence

The member of the central committee of the Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party in Syria Idris Jajan denounced the Turkish attacks on North Syria's area, and said that these attacks target the Kurdish presence.

Jajan added, "We in the Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party in Syria consider that the Turkish violations against the safe areas target the Kurdish people and the Kurdish territories to eradicate the Kurdish presence." Turkey has repeatedly acknowledged, "Wherever a Kurd demanding their right existed, we will fight them."

He stressed that Turkey has other goals; achieving colonial ambitions to restore the glories of the Ottoman Empire and the reoccupation of territories occupied by the Ottoman Empire which extend to al-Mosul.

Jajan pointed out during his speech that the Kurdish political forces and parties must unite and reach a political agreement that ensures the confrontation of the Turkish attacks and others, "We as a Kurdish political party and all Kurdish political parties must reach a unified political agreement towards the repeated attacks on our territory for the safety and freedom of our people and our lands."

Turkey wants to strike DAA's project in North Syria's area

The administrator in the Party of Modernity and Democracy in Syria, Alia Musa said, "Turkey is dissatisfied with the Autonomous Administration project adopted by North Syria's people. The Autonomous Administration's project in North Syria is against the ambitions of the Turkish state so it is trying to thwart this project because Turkey does not want peace to be prevailed in our areas."

Alia Musa said that Turkey seeks to spread strife among North Syria's people, and referred to the inhumane practices practiced by Turkey in Afrin in addition to attempts to instigate sedition among the components of al-Raqqa people and the implementation of assassinations, and finally the repeated attacks on the border areas.

She stressed that all these efforts will not undermine the will of the peoples of the area in confronting all these attacks, she added, "The Turkish state cannot reach its goal because of the strong link that links North Syria's people under the fraternity of the peoples. The cohesion of North Syria on the fronts of fighting will fail these attacks."

The administration in the Democracy and Modernity Party in Syria Alia Musa ended her speech, "We are fully ready to make sacrifices, and the blood of the martyrs is the link that no one can weaken it."
