'Turkey must stop threatening area's security'

About the last attacks of the Turkish occupation army on the areas of the Syrian north and targeting the children and journalists, the Syrian Women Council and the civil society organizations issued a statement in which they pointed out that Turkey must abide by the covenants of good neighborhood and to stop threatening the security of the area. 

The statement that was read in front of the Refugees' Commission in Qamishlo canton included,

Kobani city has just recovered from IS' effects while the threats came again to encircle it as Turkey bombarded Kobani and Tel Abyed, and that resulted in leaving victims among them the child Sara in addition to targeting the journalists and the civilians in unjustified attacks.

Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis in 2011 till invading Afrin in January 20, the Turkish threats and attacks have not stopped against the Syrian northern borders amid international silence as the Turkish army continues its military operations on the Syrian lands using the most sophisticated aerial and land weapons. Many individual and mass violations practiced against the people of Afrin and its countryside in addition to the huge amount of destruction that was inflicted to the area, leaving hundreds of victims and wounded, displacing thousands of native population following the demographic change policy that is considered the crime of war in itself and many massacres that is marked as the ethical purgation and classified among the international and penal crimes.

Turkey has invaded the border part of the Syrian lands defying the international public opinion and its humanitarian organization, violating the national sovereignty and using the weapons internationally prohibited as its battle included the genocide.   

We, in the Syrian Women Council and the civil society organizations, call for the international and regional Human Rights' bodies to stop their silence and stand against these attacks for our Syrian people's tragedy in Afrin to not be repeated in the other areas of Syria, and Turkey must adhere to the covenants of good neighborhood and to take a positive role for solving the crisis in Syria, not to be a side in the conflict and work on threatening the safe areas and their people with much blood and destruction.

Because those samples of actions are crimes of war and international crimes against humanity, and they are serious violations against human rights. Everybody issued the instructions, committed, contributed to or supported those terrorist actions must be exposed to the international law authority and be held the criminal accountable for their practices everywhere in the world.
