4th Festival of Martyr Hoger is held for first time in al-Tabqa

The establishment of this festival in al-Tabqa after it was limited in specific areas is an important step in the exchange of cultures through the mixing of peoples and the identification of cultures of each other through these festivals in which all components participate, especially after SDF liberated large areas of northern and eastern Syria from the hands of IS mercenaries.

The events of the festival, which began by holding with a minute of silence, were attended by delegations from Deir ez-Zor, al-Raqqa, Manbij, Tal Abyad and al-Hasakah, in addition to joint presidency of the Executive Council of al-Tabqa Hind al-Ali and Shiyar Mohammad, and the co-chair of the Legislative Council, Rohan Hami, the joint presidencies, members of the civil administration committees of al-Tabqa and dozens of the city's residents.

After  holding a minute of silence, the administrator of the North Syrian Youth Association Zana Tolhildan delivered the opening speech, which addressed the importance of culture and art in preserving the identity of the people and protecting them from extinction.

And said ,"From this theater destroyed by terrorism, we will give a message to whoever destroyed it and to all Jihadist groups. As youth, we will rebuild our culture and improve it step by step."

Shiyar Mohammad delivered as speech, and pointed out in his speech the continuation of the Turkish aggression in the bombing of the cities and villages of Kobanî and Tel Abyad, stressing the failure of Turkish policy in the Middle East.

A member of Manbij Youth Band, who presented one of the lyrics, Ruya Mustafa Hassan, expressed her joy to participate in this festival, stressing that this festival stems from the importance of the participation of all components in it from Arabs, Kurds, Circassians, Syriac, Turkmen and others.
