2 Palestinians, including a child, were killed and 124 others were wounded on Friday after clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians irrupted in the Return March on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.

Hawar agency's correspondent from Gaza noted that a 14-year-old Palestinian boy, Faris Hafez al-Sarasawi, and 24-year-old Mahmoud Akram Mohammed Abu Samaan were killed by Israeli troops on Friday while they were participating in the Return March in its 28th week.

The correspondent added that the number of casualties was 124 citizens were wounded, 64 of them were transferred to hospitals, including five seriously injured, in addition to the targeting of an ambulance with gas bombs .

Israeli forces also fired tear gas at the press crews and ambulance crews, who were present to cover the Return Marches events and the wounded people in the eastern Gaza Strip. Two journalists were moderately wounded.

Remarkably, that Israeli forces today declared the eastern border of the Gaza Strip a closed military zone in light of the tension on the border area and directed a number of instructions to the residents of Gaza Strip settlements.

Since the start of the Return March on March 30, 195 people have lost their lives, including children, and about 21,600 have been injured.
