The sit-inners in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood continued their sit-in in the tent which was set up by the women of Kongra Star as part of Revolt campaign under the slogan, “Women Revolt for the Freedom of Leader Ocalan and his Freedom” for the second day to condemn the Turkish government’s practices against Ocalan.

The second day of activities began with visiting a delegation of Women Committees from various institutions in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in order to raise the morale of the sit-inners and to emphasize that they, as institutions, stand beside the sit-inners.

During the second day, many speeches were delivered by both the administrative in Kongra Star Siham Bilal and the administrative in the Martyrs’ Families Council Eytan Reshou.

The words have shown that the international conspiracy against Ocalan is against all the peoples of the Middle East who take of his ideology a way to escape the tyrannical regimes that govern them.

The speeches added that the conspiracy that started by the Turkish state and the regional states that support it is still ongoing and it aims at breaking the will of the peoples and weakening them in addition to thwarting the democratic projects in which all the components of North Syria participate on the principle of the democratic nation emanated from the ideology and philosophy of Ocalan.

The words confirmed that the conspiracy would fail because thousands of the peoples of the area are ready to sacrifice themselves for the liberation of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and the end of the Turkish fascist regime.

The words noted that the struggle of all the peoples of North Syria and their solidarity spread under the Democratic Autonomous Administration foiled all the schemes of the foreign countries that claim to spread democracy, while they only protect their narrow interests at the expense of the Syrian blood.

The words denounced the international silence and the organizations that claim to protect human rights towards what Ocalan is subjected to in Imrali prison and called on them to carry out their duties as humanitarian organizations.

After the words ended, many songs and poems about the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan were presented by the participants in the sit-in, and they confirmed their resistance and continuation of their activities.

Therefore, the second day of the activity ended with chanting the slogans that call for the freedom of the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan and salute Ocalan's resistance in Imrali prison.
