4 Besieged villages in Şêrawa district need medical point

Residents of "Al-Ziyara, Soghanka, Kharbka and Aqiba" villages of ​​Şêrawa district in Afrin canton are suffering from the siege posed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries complain of the lack of a medical point in their villages to provide medical services to patients, as the nearest point about 40 kilometers away, when there is a case of emergency, they have to pass all that distance to reach ​​Fafin district in al-Shahba  which is dangerous to the lives of patients.

In this context the citizen Fidan Mohammed from Aqiba village said, "we are suffering from a siege from all sides, and there is no health services belonging to the village here."

She added, "If there is an emergency, we need to pass 40 kilometers to reach al-Shahba canton where the hospital is located. We need a nearby medical point so that we can go to it and get the required treatment. "

For his part, the citizen Ahmed Mohammed said, "We in ​​Şêrawa district are forced to travel for two hours on the road to get to the nearest medical point in ​​Fafin and this is a great suffering because it is difficult to have a means of transport to the hospital and transport costs expensive because of high fuel prices resulting from the blockade Suffering from the district from all sides, so we appeal to provide the assistance required to end this suffering we are living. "

 The citizen Rajab Mustafa  for his part said " the councils and the communes are doing everything possible according to their capabilities in the four villages in Şêrawa besieged by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, which received a large number of the people of Afrin who left their homes forcibly, but the health point does not have any potentials, the Kurdish Red Crescent provides all that it can to serve the people, but its potentials are limited.

It is noteworthy that the Kurdish Red Crescent opened on September 7, a medical point to serve the people of the villages (Burj al-Qas, Gundi Mazen, Mayassa, Klotin, Zarnaieta, Khirbat Shams) also are besieged on the other side of Şêrawa, but the people cannot reach it to not be targeted by the occupation army and its mercenaries.
