Hasakah residents mark Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday

Residents of Hasakah and members of the Democratic Islam Conference marked the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday with a religious celebration featuring Quran recitations, religious chants and praise songs.

The Hasakah Council of the Democratic Islam Conference held the religious celebration today at the Musab bin Umair Mosque in the Tal Hajar neighborhood of Hasakah city, attended by local residents, community figures, and mosque imams and preachers.

The celebration was held after the Maghrib prayer and featured religious and cultural activities, including recitations of verses from the Quran, as well as religious chants and praise songs honoring the Prophet Muhammad, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

Mazen Harouni, a representative of the Democratic Islam Conference, delivered a speech highlighting the values and principles embodied in the Prophet’s message. He called for drawing lessons from the life of the Prophet Muhammad to promote brotherhood, love and tolerance, and to strengthen a spirit of peace among the different components of society.

The celebration concluded with prayers for the people of the region and for security and stability in Syria, amid an atmosphere of goodwill and celebration marking the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
