Serê Kanîyê women denounced isolation on Ocalan

In the framework of the third stage of the campaign organized by Kongra Star to condemn the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, hundreds of women from Serê Kaniyê and Zerkan participated in a massive march.

The march began in front of Washukani Center for Culture and Art in Serê Kanîyê city amid chanting the slogans that denounce the isolation and salute Imrali resistance.

The march toured through the streets of the city amid chanting the slogans that condemn the violations of the Turkish state and call for the resistance against isolation.

The participants gathered in the Martyrs Square in the center of the city, where the march was turned into a massive gathering.

After holding a minute of silence, the administrator in Kongra Star Rehan Khalil addressed the international conspiracy that led to arresting Ocalan and pointed to the conditions of the isolation imposed by the Turkish state.

Rehan Khalil appealed to all the international and Human Rights organizations to carry out their responsibilities and to limit the violations of the Turkish state in Imrali prison.

Furthermore, the march ended with chanting the slogans that salute Ocalan’s resistance.
