HPG disclosed Başûr, Bakur operations' outcomes

The media center of the Popular Defense Forces (HPG) issued on Monday a statement to the public opinion in which it revealed the results of the operations carried out in Berzan area of ​​ Başûr Kurdistan and Mardin city in Bakur Kurdistan.

The statement said:

"In the framework of the revolutionary campaign that was launched on behalf of the Martyrs Pîroz and Agirî, our forces carried out an operation on July19 at 06:20 against a military unit of the Turkish occupation army in the vicinity of Tel Bayraq in Berzan area of Başûr Kurdistan. The operation resulted in killing two soldiers and wounding two others. After the operation, the Turkish occupation shelled the area with rockets and mortars.

In the framework of the revolutionary campaign launched on behalf of the Martyr Delal Amed and the Martyrs of Basta, our forces carried out an operation against the Security Directorate building in Mehseratah of Mardin city in Bakur Kurdistan on August 18 at 07:00. The building was severely hit, and the number of the killed and wounded among the Turkish occupation army was not known. After that, the Turkish occupation launched an attack on the area, but the attack was foiled in the evening of the same day, and the Turkish occupation army withdrew.

2 fighters martyred as a result of shelling Gever district

The Turkish occupation army launched air strikes with unmanned aircrafts on Munshaneh village in Gever district in Colemêrg city on August 17. The shelling resulted in killing two of our fighters. We will publish information about the martyr's record later.

3 fighters martyred in Sêrt

On the night of the 17th of August, a unit of our forces carried out an operation in ​​Herkul area in Sêrt city of Bakur Kurdistan, and within the performance of their duty, the unit met with soldiers of the Turkish occupation army. The occupation forces could not directly conflict with our forces and they resorted to helicopters and shelled the area. After the bombing, Skorsky helicopters landed in the area. The fighting lasted until the morning of the 18th of August which led to killing several Turkish occupation soldiers. Our comrades, Bewer and Heqi, fought courageously against the Turkish soldiers and were martyred and our companion Aras was injured, and in order not to be captured by the enemy forces, he detonated his hand grenade at himself and martyred. We will reveal the record of the martyrs later."
