TEV-DEM congratulated people on Eid a-Adha, asserted to liberate Afrin

The Executive Body of TEV-DEM issued a written statement to the public opinion in which it congratulated all the Syrian and Kurdish people and the Islamic nation on Eid al-Adha.

The statement said:

"In light of the lack of effective solutions so far in Syria, the Syrian people are receiving Eid al-Adha in a difficult tragic situation, where there are still those who want to create the conflict and chaos and to save terrorism under different names. We recognize that dialogue is an important part of the solution so we comply with it and hope that the dialogue will be a way adopted by all Syrians.

This is the second Eid passes on our people in Afrin and the Turkish state and its mercenaries continue to practice monstrous actions in Afrin. Our people in the camps of al-Shahba are suffering from very difficult health and human conditions. It is regrettable that there are authentic people outside their homes who are being exterminated and the world is still silent.

We extend our congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha to all our people and to the families of the martyrs, as well as our wounded heroes and all the people of Syria and the Islamic nation. We hope that peace and stability will soon be achieved. We also assure that the Turkish occupation is a poisonous disgrace in the Syrian body, and we emphasize that terrorism must not have a foothold. We note that there are Turkish schemes that aim at saving terrorism in Syria.

We pledge our people in Afrin to perpetuate the march of resistance and that our return is our choice and the liberation of Afrin is an irreversible decision.

In conclusion, we renew the covenant and affirm that we continue to adhere to the approach of the martyrs until victory and democracy would be achieved in accordance with our firm principles which we believe in through the democratic nation project, the path towards stability and peace.
