Festival allowed Armenians to introduce their heritage

The festival was organized in the second season on the occasion of the 6th  anniversary of  July19 Revolution, where the festival witnessed popular food, and a presentation of heritage holdings and images of the characters that appreciate each component.

All Arab, Kurdish, Armenian and Syriac components participated in the festival, as well as large audiences who came to learn about the culture and heritage of the components.

The Armenian component had a special character in the festival, where the component featured pictures of the Virgin Mary and the Prophet Jesus and paintings indicating them, as well as heritage artifacts they used in the foot.

In the same text Lucian Matt wesyan of the Armenian component of Girê Spî, said that they are sharing the region's components to express their culture through the festival.

Lucian Matt wesyan added "The democratic nation project has brought us to where we are," said Lucien said the festival opened the way for them to become more aware of their heritage and culture, asserting that Armenians had been oppressed throughout history.

Lucien explained to the visitors the pictures which she had hung at the exhibition which she opened during the festival.
