Expanded meeting of Kongra Star in Dêrik

The joint ruler of al-Jazeera Heva Arabo and the administrators in the civil society institutions and many women in Dêrik participated in the meeting, as the meeting was held at the center of the People's House in Dêrik.

After holding a minute of silence, the document of Kongra Star Foundation was read in Arabic by the administrator in Kongra Star Fatima Suleiman.

After reading the document of Kongra Star, the joint ruler of al-Jazeera Heva Arabo spoke about the role of women, their organization to themselves in Rojava and northern Syria and their participation in all political, military and diplomatic aspects.

Heva noted that women have become a powerful force in taking responsibility, demanding rights, accountability, criticism and self-criticism and analyzing the reality of the society. All these have developed more during the period of the revolution.

Representatives of Kongra Star were selected after the vote by the audience through the ballot box. Ten members of Kongra Star were appointed within Dêrik district to coordinate with the civil society organizations and Kongra Star.

A number of committees were formed from Kongra Star to work in the civil society organizations in Dêrik. These committees are as follows, the Municipality Committee, Economic Committee, Substantive Protection Committee, Community Committee, Art and Culture Committee, Training Committee, Media Committee, Pacification Committee, Diplomatic Relations Committee and Parties Committee.

After the completion of the committees, four women were appointed as administrators in Kongra Star in Dêrik after the vote by the audience.
