The aim of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, through their attack on Afrin, was to erase the culture, language and heritage of Afrin people, and they targeted many schools, historical places and centers of culture and art.

But the people of Afrin, after they have moved to al-Shahba canton, proved that they are related to their culture and language, and the Culture and Art Body reorganized its work again, began to train dance and song bands, and opened its centers in al-Shahba.

On Thursday, the Culture and Art Body, in coordination with the Artists Union in Sardam camp, opened a center for editing works and recording songs.

In this context, the administrator in the Culture and Art Body in Serdem camp Massoud Kerad said, "The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries, through their attacks on Afrin, tried to eliminate the culture, art and language in Afrin, but we did not allow that because we are related to our culture, and known of it as it is our identity."

Kerad continued, "After we have moved to al-Shahba canton, we have taken the canton as a destination to continue the Resistance of the Age at its second phase. We have started our work again, restored our dance and song bands to work, and trained new bands to take part in our activities to liberate Afrin."

Kerad said, "We, as the Culture and Art Body, have been coordinating with the Artists Union since a week to prepare an audio recording center, and to be able to do some editing works in Serdem camp.”

According to Kerad, the preparations ended on Thursday after they had faced some difficulties when securing the supplies of the center due to the siege that al-Shahba canton suffers from.
