Manbij women: We reject any external interference in affairs of our city

Women's Council in Manbij on Saturday released a statement to the public opinion expressing their rejection of any outside interference in the affairs of the city, in the presence of the Women's House and the Women's Economy Committee in the center of the city council.

The statement was read by a member of the Committee on Diplomatic Relations, Ibtisam Abdul Qader.

The statement included:

"On behalf of the Council of Women in Manbij and its countryside, we reject any initiative or agreement leading to Turkish intervention in Manbij. These agreements are nothing but an attempt to destabilize the security and stability of this safe country and to prevent Manbij people from resisting oppression and enslavement.

Manbij Military Council and Internal Security Forces in Manbij are hand in hand capable of maintaining security and peace in Manbij.

Women in Manbij reject any plot or agreement that interfere in the affairs of Manbij, and women in Manbij see that any project to intervene in the country is an occupation, which is absolutely rejected.

"We are able to manage our own country without help of anyone, especially the Ottoman Turkish occupation, because we know the colonial intentions of AKP and its ambitions to plunder the wealth of our country and spread chaos in the safe country."

The statement ended with slogans that salute resistance of Manbij people and the Manbij Military Council.
