Education, culture committees save childhood from Daesh’s deposits

Members of Education Committee and members of Culture and Art Committee as well as the educational and administrative staff at Omar al-Mukhtar School and some teachers attended the event from other schools.

The events included an exhibition of drawings that embodied the innocence of childhood through the drawing of famous cartoon characters and nature.

The exhibition also included some of the figures that embodied the culture of the area as a shape of an Arab tent, a stove and coffee pot, which showed the extent of children's attachment to the culture and heritage of the area.

Some students also performed the play Rabbit and Tortoise and some dances on the impact of songs that call for childhood as the song "give us childhood" father have seven children "and others.

The conducting of these activities is part of the ongoing efforts of Education Committee and in cooperation with all other committees to rehabilitate what the IS mercenaries have done in the children's brains by encouraging children to practice their favorite hobbies, develop their talents and express their thoughts through drawing and singing.

In conclusion, the children participating in the events presented their work to the children of Afrin, who were deprived of their childhood by the policy of Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and their displacement to the children of Afrin.

It is worth mentioning that Education Committee, in cooperation with the Culture and Art Committee, has conducted more than one event in more than one school.
