Afrin people in al-Asr camp: Afrin will win, waiting to return to Afrin

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with Afrin people who are residing in al-Asr/Serdam camp located in Sosin village in al-Shahba canton

People residing in the camp talking about the brutal practice to the Turkish occupation army and its mercenary gangs against of Afrin people and international organizations are still silent about these practices.

Citizen Anwar Mohammed from people of Shitika village belonging to Mobata district in Afrin canton said " We were forced to leave our house where my family and I were staying, and to stop the bloodshed and protect ourselves. We resorted to the center of Afrin, but the Turkish occupation continued its aggression against us, so we had to leave the center of Afrin city also and head towards Ziyara village belonging to Mobata district."

Mohammad said that they later took refuge to Babans village belonging to Fafin district and because the village had been destroyed by Islamic State's gangs (IS) they had taken refuge in Sardam camp. "There we received the necessary assistance, such as blankets, by the Kurdish Red Crescent.”

At the end of his speech, Anwar Mohammed appealed to international organizations and human rights organizations to intervene and ensure the return of the Afrin residents to their homes and to intervene to reduce violations of the Turkish occupation against civilians and women.

Citizen Sheikh Mohammed Ali of Sheikani clan confirmed that they resisted the Turkish occupation in Afrin and did not accept to leave their city. However, the Turkish occupation army continued its air raids and targeted the civilians, forcing them to resort to Sardam camp.

In turn Citizen Zlikha Ali from Sheikani clan also said, "Çiyayê Kurmênj (Kurdish mountains) is Kurdish and is not entitled to the occupation of Turkey and the demographic change of the region by resettling families of Ghouta and Duma," noting that the practices of the Turkish occupation army and terrorist  gangs are the same mercenary practices Islamic State 's gangs( IS)of the captivity For women, killing civilians, occupying areas, looting and sabotaging houses.

At the end of her speech, Zulikha asked why the international and human rights organizations have been silent and negligent about the acts committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and called on international organizations to remove the families of the mercenaries from Afrin as soon as possible.
