Syria Future Party’s president: We seek to restore unity between Syrians

Al-Kaftan's remarks came during an interview with Hawar news agency to discuss the overall objectives and programs of their party.

"Syrian Future Party is a purely Syrian party, founded in North Syria," he said.

"Al-Raqqa city has special characteristics and has been designated in certain forms, especially in the era of IS mercenaries, because it has become the capital of the alleged caliphate, but the reality of al-Raqqa city is not the owner of this shape, and is a beautiful example of democracy," he said.

"The founding conference of Syria Future Party was held in al-Raqqa city in a bid to remove the blackness from al-Raqqa city, now it has many aspects and will be a source of democracy through Syria Future Party, especially that the Party has the objectives of (Pluralism, decentralization and partnership), our party does not believe in centralization, because what brought Syria to this matter is central and one color.

Syrian Future Party announced on March 27, during a founding conference in al-Raqqa city, in the presence of Arab, Kurdish, Syriac and Arab tribal blocs in North Syria, under the slogan "Syria is democratic pluralistic and decentralized"

Al-Kiftan pointed out that most of the people belonging to their party are of all Syrian components. "Our party has branches in many Syrian areas, primarily in North Syria areas as (Qamishlo, Deir ez-Zor, al-Hasakah, al-Raqqa and Manbij) in addition to persons associate from Aleppo, Swaida, Idlib and Damascus; we also have members living in Turkey and some in Germany and America.

The head of Syrian Future Party says they will seek to be the main incubator and stop the bloodshed in Syria.

"We will not be an exclusionary, nationalist or individual party, most of the parties established in the past seven years are individual, national, religious, but Syria Future Parties through its program have no exclusionary ideology, its main rules is citizenship and citizen, not a stream or particular denominator or a particular sect, because the party is not about people but about the homeland.

"The most important projects of the party are the re-unification of Syrians, and we will continue to do so with all the spectra of Syrian people, both inside and outside the country," said the head of Syrian Future Party, Ibrahim al-Kiftan.
