Al-Jazeera people headed towards Qereçox

Thousands of people from al-Jazeera region went to Derik area of Qamishlo canton, in commemoration of the first anniversary of the martyrs who fell during the attacks which were launched on Qereçox

On the first anniversary of the attack by Turkish occupation army on the general command of People Protection Units in Mount Qereçox, and to commemorate the martyrs, thousands of people from villages, towns and cities of al-Jazeera region headed towards Qereçox Mountains of Derik area.

The commemoration of the attacks 'martyrs also includes representatives of Democratic Autonomous Administration and its employees, Democratic Society Movement, political parties and organizations, civil institutions, and People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ).

It was mentioned that aircraft of Turkish occupation launched an aggression on the headquarters of the general command of People Protection Units (YPG) on 25 April 2107, led to the martyrdom of 20 fighters in People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ), including three war correspondents.
