The Lebanese Foreign Ministry expressed, in a statement, its condemnation for the raids launched on Syria, stressing its previous positions that the Lebanese airspace must not be used to attack Syria.
The ministry announced its intention to file a complaint to the UN Security Council against Israel for breaking into Lebanese airspace.
The Syrian regime accused Israel on Monday of bombing the T4-military airport in the center of Homs governorate, while local Lebanese media indicated that Israeli warplanes crossed over the Lebanese lands on their way to target the airport.
Furthermore, the Israeli warplanes hover into Lebanese airspace on a daily basis which, according to the Lebanese government, is considered a clear violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1,701 of August 2006.
