Egyptian- Cypriot talks started in Cairo
Egyptian-Cypriot talks are being held on Tuesday in the Egyptian capital Cairo aiming at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries, and discussing issues and files of joint concern.

Egyptian-Cypriot talks are being held in Cairo on Tuesday to strengthen the bilateral relations between Cairo and Nicosia, and the ways to strengthen them in various domains, as well as the tripartite cooperation mechanism that gather Egypt, Cyprus and Greece.
The two sides will also discuss issues and files of common concern, including developments in the Palestinian lands, the situation in Syria and the fight against terrorism.
Cyprus's Foreign Minister Nikos Christoulidis’ visit to Cairo in the coming hours is considered the first of its kind since taking his office in the new Cypriot government in February.
