The Israeli army continued today to carry out airstrikes, artillery shelling, demolition operations, and land-clearing activities in various areas of southern Lebanon.

Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that Israeli artillery shelled the town of Bani Hayyan, coinciding with land-clearing operations. Israeli forces also carried out a demolition in the town of Majdal Zoun and set fire to several homes in Beit al-Siyad.

An Israeli explosive drone also detonated over the town of Mansouri, while artillery fire targeted the outskirts of Haddatha. Israeli aircraft carried out nighttime airstrikes on Al-Qantara, while a Merkava tank shelled Mansouri.

Heavy Israeli drone activity was also reported over Zahrani and the southern suburbs of Beirut, along with explosions on the outskirts of Srifa and search operations in the town.

These developments come despite the announcement of a ceasefire on June 20, which led to a reduction in the frequency of Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon.
