NEWS DESK - Faiq Kolbi said that the Kurdish people are open to democracy, especially the new regime, which is built by the Kurds in Rojava between the various religious and ethnic and sectarian components, and was able to draw the attention of the world to its democratic system so Erdogan seeks to strike the Kurdish gains and hit the good relationship between the Kurds and International Community..
To talk about Turkish attacks on Başûr, "southern Kurdistan" and Erdogan threats to launch aggression on Şengal, and his plans in the area, Hawar news agency interviewed the former head of Kurdistan Democratic Solution Party, Dr. Faiq Kolbi, where Kolbi said that the Kurds if they are united, the fate of Erdogan and his regime will not be better than the fate of Saddam Hussein and his regime.
The following is the text of the dialogue with Dr. Fayeq Kolbi:

* Turkey has recently launched attacks on the Kurdistan region. What are the Turkish ambitions in the area?
If we watch the recent policies of Erdogan and the Justice and Development Party, we see that Erdogan's policy towards the Kurdish people is an attempt to eliminate Kurdish gains both in Rojava and in Başûr-Kurdistan. At first, Erdogan's regime directed extremist terrorist organizations such as IS and Jabhat al-Nasra to achieve its projects and the projects of his party.
But the military policies of IS and Jabhat al-Nasra failed. So we see now attacking Afrin militarily and threaten the other areas in Rojava and at the same time launch military and political attacks on Kurdistan region. In the last days of the occupation of 10 kilometers of the territory of Başûr and continuous aerial bombardment that killed 4 civilians there, as well as the decision to open air space in front of Hewlêr airport and prevent it at the same time in front of Sulaimaniah airport, aimed at creating a division between Hewlêr and Sulaimaniah.

* Turkish attack on Kurdistan region came in conjunction with the attack on Afrin, What is the relationship between these attacks?
Erdogan wants to prove to the Turkish army that is capable of fighting on several fronts and occupying the territory of the neighboring countries at the same time, as he wants to say to the opponents inside Turkey, we are an authority that seeks to achieve what you want, because, unfortunately, the chauvinism and colonial mentality that seeks to restore the glories of the Ottoman Empire.

* Turkey threatens to attack Şengal far from its borders. What is the Turkish plan in the region?
The Turkish plan is the revival of new Ottoman caliphate was in progress. During the Ottoman Caliphate, Syria, Iraq, and many Arab states were subject to Ottoman rule. The Turkish strategy was based on a provocative occupation of Şengal Mountains, which is characterized by its strategic importance.

* The position of Başûr Kurdistan government does not rise to what is required. What is your opinion, and how do you assess the position of the political parties in Başûr of these attacks?
In the Kurdistan region there are policies with characteristics, and these attributes are relying on the external factor in solving its problems and not based on the internal factor and the will of the people, so the Kurdish parties in Başûr Kurdistan, especially the ruling parties at this time and in particular the Kurdistan Democratic Party has the conviction that it can achieve and it is possible for the Kurdish people through its diplomatic and economic relations with the Turkish state, and this is a grave mistake.

There is a political culture that is not nationality, not democracy and no bold in the region, and all the political parties in the region acquire these political qualities. On the other hand, the Kurdish political parties in this part are not based on the internal and subjective factor but on the external factor And strong diplomatic relations, but the politics of other political parties in Başûr remain better than those of Kurdistan Democratic Party, but they are not enough.

* Iraq replied to Turkey that it would not accept the attack on Şengal. How do you assess this position and will Iraq actually allow Turkey to launch an attack on its territory and why?
I think the Turkish government will not be able to launch an attack on Şengal because the Iraqi government is stronger than before. Now the Iraqi army and the popular crowd are in Şengal and its mountains. On the other hand, there is competition between Turkey and Iran over Iraq. The Iraqi government is very close to the Iranian government.

In light of Turkish attacks and threats in the region, what is the probable scenario in the next stage?
The Kurdish people, especially in Rojava, Bakur and Başûr, helped defeat the Kurds, and the Kurdish people are open to democracy, especially the regime. The new structure of the Kurds in Rojava between the various religious, ethnic and sectarian components in the region, this democratic system drew the attention of countries and regional and international political trends, and there could be an international agreement on the Kurdish people in Rojava and Başûr for its rights, but unfortunately do not want scratching The Turkish nation is not to have a homogeneous and supportive international position for the Kurdish people. What the Turkish state seeks is to strike this equation and to strike the gains of the Kurdish people on the one hand and the good relationship between the international community and the Kurdish people on the other.
What we need is the unity and we have a strong will and address the regional countries and the international community because without resolving the Kurdish issue in the Middle East there will not be stability, peace and development. This is very important, we must realize that the regime of Saddam Hussein has gone because of his undemocratic and national policies towards the Kurdish people
