His tent burned, his daughter died due to organizations' inaction

As a result of the inaction of organizations to carry out their duties towards the displaced, his tent was burned and his daughter lost her life. He is Iraqi refugee Osama Hamoudi.

AL-HASAKAH- Osama Hamoudi, a resident of Salah al-Din province and a father of seven children, took refuge in al-Hool refugee camp east of al-Hasakah for 4 years ago. As a result of the inaction of International Organizations to provide services and help the refugees, Osama's tent was burned.

"As a result of the severe cold, we used a very old heater, and when my wife lit the stove, the entire tent burned," he said to Hawar news agency who recounted his story and tears filled his eyes

"The camp administration has been helping my 14-year-old daughter Manasa to al-Hikma hospital in al-Hasakah. Despite the attempts of the medical staff, she lost her life as a result of the severe burns she sustained," Hamoudi said.

Hamoudi also pointed to the suffering of the displaced people in the camps as a result of the inaction of International Organizations to do their duty. "These organizations come from time to time and imagine themselves to publish these images on social media sites and say they are helping refugees and displaced people, but all these are plays," Hamoudi said.

At the end of his speech, Hamoudi called on Human Rights Organizations to provide them with mobile homes or good tents in order to live in peace of mind.
