With the participation of youth councils in Tabqa, Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, in addition to the Young Women’s Union and the Youth and Sports Committee of Tabqa, the symposium was launched in Tabqa city and began with a minute of silence followed by the speech of the co-chairman of the Executive Council of Tabqa Mazloum, who stressed the importance of the youth in building a decent life, and noted the impact of the special war on the youth group.

The dialogue symposium included two axes, the first being the “Syrian crisis and its consequences on youth and the impact of the private war practiced by several parties, including the Turkish state and the Damascus government, and what ISIS left on the region and the impact of extremism on the youth.”

While the second axis discussed "the role of youth in building defense and civil institutions in the Autonomous Administration and in decision-making, the role of youth in confronting the occupation and direct Turkish violations in Syria, how to combat extremist ideology and employment, finding ways to solve all difficulties, and methods of developing and building the youth group.

The attendees raised many problems facing young people about the themes discussed in the symposium.

In turn, Mahmoud Al-Bashir, the co-chair of the Youth and Sports Authority stated that the main objective of holding these seminars is to hear what our youth suffer, take their opinions and give them the opportunity to discuss and participate in decision-making.

At the end, many problems faced by young people were written down and their suggestions and future plans were taken to share and discuss them with all departments and decision-makers in all regions.

It is noteworthy that the first dialogue symposium was held by the Syrian Democratic Youth Council in Al-Jazeera region on November 4 of last year, while the second symposium was held in Manbij and Euphrates regions on February 24 of this year.
