A number of women from the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods expressed their complete rejection of the practices of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and considered them a facilitation of the Turkish occupation's operations to exterminate the Kurdish presence.
Citizen Shiraz Suleiman, mother of the martyr Avashin Damhat, said that the Barzani family has a long history of betrayal against the Kurdish people, including Barzani's appeal to Saddam Hussein against the Kurds in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, "They cooperated with Saddam who committed the Anfal massacre against the Kurds in Bashur Kurdistan, and today they are allying with Erdogan against the Freedom Movement."
" The first enemy of the Kurdish people aims to occupy the entire territory of Bashur Kurdistan and NE Syria" Shiraz Suleiman added.
Accordingly, she called for escalating the struggle under the umbrella of the Democratic Nation ideology to repel the occupiers and their agents.
While the citizen Fidan Mahmoud said that she witnessed the cooperation of the followers of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Barzani family with the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army in the attack on the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood between 2012-2016, and that the enemy is clear but the traitor is lurking.
"it is incumbent upon the Kurdistan Democratic Party to work on renouncing treason and joining hands with its brothers, instead of opening the way for the Turkish occupation and its Syrian mercenaries to attack the Defense Areas" Fidan Mahmoud added.
The citizen Hanifa Hassan said: "The betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party caused the occupation of Afrin by the Turkish army, due to the support of the groups affiliated with the KDP of the Turkish attacks."
She explained that, "Freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the Kurdish cause on the other hand, we find that Barzani clings to power and sells the independence of Bashur for money."
