The Turkish occupation state continues to impose strict isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan and prevents his family and lawyers from meeting him, which provokes the resentment of the freedom-seeking people who demand the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Youssef Danho, a notable member of the Syriac component in al-Jazira canton, pointed out that leader Abdullah Ocalan holds liberating ideas not only for the Kurdish people but for all the people of the region. “These ideas represent the essence of the rights of the people of the region and their aspirations for freedom,” he said.
He added, We know that the people of the region are the target of this conspiracy because they believed in free thought and found their way out of slavery through it.
Danho stressed that the Turkish courts “are illegitimate with regard to the trial of the leader from the first day of his imprisonment until today, and Turkey has a long history of crimes against the people of the region, including the Kurds, Syriacs, and Armenians. These indigenous peoples own this land, and Turkey is an alien people to the region and is carrying out all policies of genocide against us. The conspiracy against the leader is a continuation of this policy.”
He also continued, In North and East Syria, the components of the region have implemented the leader’s liberation thought, creating a unique model through the solidarity of the components and the establishment of the autonomous administration that represents the aspirations of the Syrian people. So, the Turkish occupation state is targeting the region of North and East Syria on a daily basis.
Youssef Danho, on behalf of the people of the region, called for “the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and for the international community to move in the case of the imprisoned Leader Ocalan and achieve his freedom.”
