The United Nations included Israeli forces, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, along with the warring parties in Sudan, on an annual global list of “perpetrators of violations against children,” However, UN ignored the Turkish grave practices against the children of NE Syria.

On Tuesday, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, denounced the Israeli army and police forces, the Palestinian “Hamas” and “Jihad” movements, and the warring parties in Sudan for their involvement in the killing of children in 2023, and added them to an annual global list of “perpetrators of violations against children" while he  ignored the crimes of the Turkish occupation state against the children of NE Syria.

The report that prepared by Virginia Gamba, Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, covers grave violations: killing, sexual violence, kidnapping, recruitment, exploitation, denial of aid, and attacks on schools and hospitals.

The Turkish occupation state has always carried out grave violations against children in NE Syria, the most recent of which was the murdering the 16-year-old child, Hussein al-Salmo, near the village of Doda between Qamishlo and Amuda, on June 8.

The Turkish occupation systematically and deliberately targeting civilians and children according to the Education Body of NE Syria on December 28, the Turkish occupation attacks destroyed 712 schools and deprived 89,418 male and female students of education.

All of these violations occur under the sight of all human rights organizations that governed by political agendas.
