Turkish occupation army targets Olive workers in Kobani countryside

A number of residents and workers were subjected to heavy gunfire from Turkish occupation forces stationed opposite the village of Kurali, west of Kobani, while harvesting olives. A family, including children, riding a motorcycle in the same village were also injured by Turkish fire.

ANHA correspondent in Kobani reported that a number of residents and workers were subjected to heavy gunfire from Turkish occupation forces stationed opposite the village of Kurali, west of Kobani, while harvesting olives.

According to ANHA correspondent, Turkish fire also struck a motorcycle carrying a man and his family, including children, causing the motorcycle to veer off the road and injuring the family members.

Turkish occupation forces continued firing indiscriminately from a border police (gendarmerie) outpost, forcing workers to abandon their crops and flee to safer areas.

This targeting is part of a series of repeated attacks against residents of border villages, threatening their lives and daily livelihoods, and preventing farmers from accessing their agricultural lands near the border fence, thus impacting their source of income.
