US President Donald Trump announced today that Iran told the United States it is in a state of collapse and wants the US to open the Strait of Hormuz as soon as possible.

Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform: "Iran just told us they are in a 'state of collapse.' They want us to 'open the Strait of Hormuz' as soon as possible while they try to figure out the status of their leadership (and I think they'll be able to do it!)."

This came after Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the new Iranian proposal recently presented to end the war.

Informed officials stated that the US president is unlikely to accept it in order to end the war that erupted on February 28.
