Talaat Younes: International community did not lift a finger against Turkish aggression

Democratic Autonomous Administration of Jazira canton held a press conference about the Turkish attacks on North and East Syria, in front of the Muhammad Sheikho Center in the city of Qamishlo, in the presence of the co-chairmanships of the bodies and offices of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, during which a statement was read by the co-chair of the Executive Council, Talaat Yunus and Vivian Baho.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration confirmed the complete outage of electricity to the cities and villages of Jazira canton, the out of service of all water stations, hospitals, medical centers, bakers, mills and other service facilities, and the loss of domestic gas as a result of the recent Turkish attacks.

In response to ANHA agency’s correspondent’s question at the press conference, about the steps and work of the Autonomous Administration from a legal and diplomatic perspective after the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the international scene, the co-chair of the Executive Council of Jazira, Talaat Yunus, said: “The crimes of the Turkish occupation, which are considered war crimes and genocide, have been documented, and it was sent and shared with all international institutions, organizations and human rights bodies, but their position on it is not serious and their silence continues, and our efforts continue to break this silent position that exists internationally regarding these crimes.”

At a time when Talaat Younes denounced the international position on these attacks, he stressed: “We in the Democratic Autonomous Administration and the people of North and East Syria will not rely on them, and we derive our strength from the resistance of the sons and daughters of our resistant people. Our people paid great sacrifices in the face of ISIS, which posed a threat to the whole world, and the international community and the peoples of the world must move and rally around the cause of this resistant people in the face of the attacks and crimes of the Turkish occupation.”
