The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that a member of the 17th Division of the Damascus government forces was killed by ISIS mercenary cells on joint points between the “National Defense” militants and the 17th Division in the Al-Awsaj area in the western desert of Deir ez-Zor near the Raqqa-Deir ez-Zor highway in the area separating Maadan and Al-Tabani, west of Deir ez-Zor; This brought the death toll to 3, including 2 members of the National Defense Forces and a member of the 17th Division, and the number is likely to rise as there are people in critical condition.
