Syrian Officer killed in rural Dara'a

A non-commissioned officer from the Damascus government forces was killed after being targeted by direct bullets by unidentified gunmen in the Daraa countryside.

Unknown gunmen targeted a non-commissioned officer from the Damascus government forces with live bullets on the road connecting the city of Nawa and the town of Al-Dali, north of Daraa, killing him, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The dead man was from the city of Homs, and worked as an official in charge of security studies in the northern countryside of Daraa.

Thus, the toll of attacks in Daraa, since the beginning of January, according to the SOHR, has reached 102 incidents of security chaos, all of which took place in different ways and methods, and caused the death of 142 people.
