 Today, the media center of the HPG issued a statement about the operations of the forces and the attacks of the Turkish occupation on the media defense areas in southern Kurdistan.

In Matina

On May 2, at 18:30, the occupation soldiers who entered the tent were targeted with semi-automatic weapons in the Resistance Square in Kolka, killing 4 occupation soldiers and destroying the tent.

In the area of ​​Martyr Dalil, west of Zap:

On April 29, at 19:45, an occupation surveillance camera was destroyed by snipers in the FM Hill Resistance Square.

On May 1, at 13:30, 15:00, and 15:40, three occupation surveillance cameras were destroyed by snipers in the Resistance Square on Amadiyah Hill.

On May 1, at 16:45, an occupation surveillance camera was destroyed by snipers in the Resistance Square on Amadiyah Hill. The operation was carried out by our forces affiliated with the Free Women’s Units - Star.

Attacks of the Turkish occupation state army:

On May 1,3  Nahla plain and Kafia Plain in the Gari region were bombed by warplanes 10 times, and the Bishil, Shilaza and Baze squares in the Matina region were bombed 4 times.

Resistance Square on Bahar Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, was bombed 5 times, and in the Khakurk area, Sunina Square was bombed twice, while warplanes bombed the Martyr Ibrahim Resistance Square in the Zap area once and the total number of air strikes by warplanes reached 22.

On the first and third of this May, the resistance squares in Shilaza and Kolka were bombed by helicopters.”
