Gêrîla families: We believe in resistance of our children against occupation 

Since last April 16, the defense areas have been subjected to intense attacks by the Turkish occupation state, with the support of the Kurdistan Democratic Party..

These attacks sparked the anger of the people and Gêrîla families in the Çil Agha district of Jazera Canton, where Nemat Seif al-Din, the father of the fighter, Shergul Rojava, praised the historical resistance shown by the People’s Defense Forces in the mountains of Kurdistan to protect the peoples and their existence, and thwart all the plans and conspiracies hatched by the Turkish occupation state and its agents.

He also denounced the practices of the KDP and its support for the Turkish occupation in launching attacks on the Gêrîla forces, and said: “If it had not been for the resistance and struggle of the Gêrîla, Hewler would now have been an emirate of ISIS with the blessing of the Turkish occupation state, and the Kurdistan Democratic Party must realize this fact.”

Meanwhile, Jalila Hadi, the mother of the Gêrîla Shergul Rojava, confirmed, “Our children are fighting in the mountains of Kurdistan in defense of humanity and the land. We do not accept any attack on them and are ready to make more sacrifices in order to achieve freedom.”

Abd al-Karim Shiny, brother of the Gêrîla Luqman Aras, said: “The KDP must stay away from these methods and practices that only serve the Turkish occupation state, which is trying by all means to eliminate the Kurdish resistance wherever it exists.”

He stressed, "The Gêrîla are our dignity and pride, and our presence on our land is linked to the presence of the Gêrîla, because they are the only ones who defend the values, principles, and history of the Kurdish people and other peoples, and the enemies of Kurdistan realize this fact; so they fight them and try to exterminate them in order to exterminate with them the truth of the peoples, especially the Kurdish people."

Yunus Haji, the brother of the fighter in the Free Women’s Units - Star, Nodem Rojava, said: “We believe in the resistance of our children in the mountains against the occupation, and victory will be ours.”

He stressed, "All parties that support the Turkish occupation in its attack on Gêrîla must realize that the HPG are not alone. We and the peoples who believe in this resistance are on their side, and we will confront the enemies who are trying to exterminate the people in the person of the Gêrîla.”
