The Military Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces held its regular meeting to evaluate its work during the past three months.

 The meeting was attended by the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, and the leaders of all military councils and factions, as well as officials of military offices and institutions.

The meeting discussed the current field and military developments, and focused mainly on the recent attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region, which targeted infrastructure, civil infrastructure, service institutions, as well as civilians, and the damage they caused was extensively assessed. The meeting also stopped at length on the measures that must be taken regarding these attacks to prevent repeat it.

He also discussed the attempts of the Turkish occupation state to benefit from the ongoing war in Gaza between the Hamas movement and Israel and invest it according to its interests, by exploiting the world’s preoccupation with that war, and intensifying its aggressive attacks on our regions by targeting infrastructure, and on this basis it escalated the pace of its targeting of our regions.

In addition to the recent attacks launched by the forces of the Damascus government and its allies on the areas of the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, and their standing behind the recent events that broke out in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

The meeting dealt extensively with the readiness and preparations of the Syrian Democratic Forces for any possible war, evaluated its military capabilities and the performance of its fighters, and stopped at a length at the Military Council in Deir ez-Zor and the conditions it is going through. All decisions taken by the General Command were ratified by the General Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces. Regarding the Deir ez-Zor Military Council, including the decision to restructure it.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a future action plan was drawn up for the forces in general, in order to increase the readiness of the forces to work in all circumstances, deal with all situations, and be constantly prepared for the possibility of launching attacks on the region.
