Scenes and photos have been published showing a group of 30 fighters of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement burning their weapons in response to the call of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In response to the call issued by Leader Abdullah Ocalan on July 9th of this year, a group of fighters from the Kurdistan Liberation Movement organized a historic ceremony.

The group, consisting of 30 fighters from the PKK, led by the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Kurdistan Communities Union, Besê Hozat, and Nedîm Seven, issued a statement in the Casene Cave in Sulaymaniyah.

Besê Hozat said during the statement: "To continue these procedures, legal reforms are needed."

Besê Hozat also indicated that they are destroying their weapons as a preparation for this process.

The ceremony, whose scenes were published shortly ago by the Firat News Agency, shows the sequence of the ceremony’s procedures.
