Roj Agency's Suleiman Ahmed detained in southern Kurdistan
The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) authorities arrested the editor of Roj News Agency, according to the agency.
Roj News Agency denounced the arrest of Suleiman, demanding KDP to reveal his fate and release him immediately.
The Suleiman's family, from the occupied Janders district, and residing in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo, had lost contact with their son since last Thursday, when he was scheduled to arrive in southern Kurdistan via the Faysh Khabur crossing.
According to the family, Suleiman went at the beginning of October to the city of Aleppo, where his family resides, after the death of his father, Muhammad Ahmad, at the age of 66, on February 18, 2023. However, circumstances prevented him from arriving to the family until about 8 years later.
Through ANHA agency Suleiman's mother appealed the relevant authorities in southern Kurdistan to reveal the fate of her son.
