Protesters at Tishrin Dam demand accountability over Kobani Massacre

Protesters against the Turkish occupation forces' attacks on the Tishrin Dam condemned the massacre carried out by the Turkish occupation in the countryside of Kobani, emphasizing that "the killers who committed the massacres must be held accountable."

The protesters at the Tishrin Dam, in opposition to the Turkish occupation's attacks and its mercenaries, and in defense of the dam, issued a statement today, read by Badi Dawood, a member of the Community Protection Forces in the Euphrates Canton.

The statement condemned the massacre committed by the Turkish occupation in the village of Birkh Botan last night in the countryside of Kobani, which resulted in the martyrdom of 9 individuals from one family, with two others from the same family injured.

It added, "At the Tishrin Dam as well, the attacks of the Turkish occupation have caused many massacres, but we are a people with strong will, and we will continue to resist all forms of attacks, and we will ultimately triumph."

The statement confirmed, "They will continue to resist the Turkish occupation to the end, no matter how intense the attacks become." The protesters stressed in their statement: "The killers who committed the massacres must be held accountable."
