Protest in Tel Tamer in support of YPJ

Today, the city of Tel Tamer witnessed a protest organized by its residents, with the participation of residents from the city of Zirgan, under the auspices of the Kongra Star, in support of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ). The protest was part of a campaign launched under the slogan "We are all YPJ. The YPJ represents us," and took place in front of the Martyrs' Families Council headquarters in Tel Tamer.

Dozens of residents and members of women's and social organizations participated in the protest, carrying pictures of YPJ fighters and banners with slogans affirming solidarity with the women's struggle and their role in protecting society and defending the gains of the region's people.

The protest began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech from Ayhan Younes, co-chair of the Tel Tamer Schools Administration, who praised "the role played by the YPJ in confronting the attacks the region has faced."

She emphasized that the YPJ has become a symbol of resistance and freedom, thanks to the sacrifices it has made to protect the people and enhance the security and stability of the region.

She also stressed the necessity of recognizing the Women's Protection Units (YPJ) as an organized military force within any future military structure, given the active role the female fighters have played in combating terrorism and defending the region. She emphasized that their sacrifices warrant official support and recognition of women's role in both the military and social spheres.

For her part, Sheikha Hamed, a member of the Social Justice Committee in the city of Zirgan, affirmed that the people of Zirgan stand with the YPJ and support their ongoing struggle for freedom and dignity.

She stressed that women have proven their ability to play a fundamental role in protecting society and promoting stability.

This demonstration is part of a series of events organized by the Kongra Star in the Rojava region to express support for the YPJ and highlight their role in the social and military struggle
