The Kurdish political parties continue to hold meetings at the level of North and East Syria to discuss the unity of the Kurdish ranks and the draft of the basic charter for resolving the Kurdish issue, in preparation for the conference that will be held during the next stage.

In this regard, the Kurdish political parties held a meeting today in the city of Hasakah, in the presence of Kurdish political figures, independent figures, academics and intellectuals. The organizing committee also invited several other parties for dialogue, led by the Kurdish National Council, but the council did not attend the meeting.

The meeting was moderated by the co-chair of the Public Relations Office of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) Sihanouk Dibo, the Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (Parti) Nasr al-Din Ibrahim, and the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party Talal Mohammad.

During the meeting, the Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (Parti), Nasr al-Din Ibrahim, stressed that the current situation requires unifying the political voice of the Kurds and unifying their position among independents, writers, and youth to build the charter that we will discuss today and to reach a conference from which results will emerge that serve the Kurds in Syria.

The meeting continues closed to the media.
